Leaving Owensboro...Going Home

We are both excited and sad to tell you that we'll be moving from Owensboro at the beginning of August. We have decided to relocate to Northern KY to be closer to my family and to be within closer driving distance to Jimmy's family.

Many of you know that I grew up in Northern Kentucky and all of my family still lives there. My husband and I had been talking for the past several months about relocating there to be closer to our families. We LOVE Owensboro but we continued to feel the need to be closer to our immediate families. So we both started the process of looking for jobs, myself in healthcare sales and marketing and he in Special Education. Surprisingly I got several interviews very quickly and have accepted a position as a Marketing Liaison with Stay Well Home Health in Cincinnati, Ohio. My husband is still looking but we are confident he will find something as well.

This is a bittersweet time for us as we LOVE Owensboro, LOVE our church and I LOVE my job at OMHS. So much in our lives has changed while we've been in Owensboro. We became parents here and many of you were such a blessing and support to us during that time! But I'm very excited to be "going home" after 15 years away!

To those of you in Owensboro, we hope you'll stay in touch via email and facebook. For those of you in NKY, we look forward to getting reacquainted with all of you soon!
